Why Link Year?
We love explaining to people why we call this place ‘Link Year’, and not Gap Year. Link has a positive connotation and is a positive transition from one step to the next step. We focus on the whole of the individual and are passionate about holistically developing our students – we want them to grow in a healthy way while here!
Education
At Link Year, out curriculum and electives are carefully designed by our staff to help students grow emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. We also partner with Dallas Baptist University, Grand Canyon University, and John Brown University so our students can earn college credits while they’re here.
Beyond the Classroom
Our program is designed in such a way where students have the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom. We make sure to pair classroom time with domestic trips, TGIF activities, personality assessments, and opportunities to gain life experience.
International Trips
Our international travel experiences expand your thinking in ways the classroom setting alone can’t provide. These trips not only provide a change of pace, but also broaden cultural understanding, strengthen Biblical worldview, and provide hands-on missions experience with international ministries.
